Known Bugs/Issues	: A few things...

(1) The warlock's mouth only moves through the first line of dialog. No smooth way to fix that, really, due to the limited number of suitable (i.e., long) "talking" animations in the game.

(2) Performance can be an issue if you have a slower machine -- lots of dwarves, swords & axes litter the ground in this map.

(3) Sometimes, the music does not play properly when the warlock appears -- Has to do with too much battle noise going on at that particular moment, I think, and that seems to prevent the new music from starting properly. This glitch is rare, but it does pop up from time to time.

(4) Dwarves occasionally get stuck in the elevator. Won't be an issue at all in the final, complete adventure but for now it may be an issue from time to time.

Map info
-----------------------
This is a short demo version of a key battle room from my upcoming singleplayer Rune adventure, "The Curse of the Warlock." It is a simple, one-room affair -- You enter the room, it fills with Dwarves & after you kill enough of them you can leave. End of demo. :) Short? Very, since it's really just a single room! But at least it gives a taste of the type of combat situations I will be shooting for in the final, completed adventure (which is due for release "When It's Done" <g>).

When this project is complete, the point of this room will be a lot clearer, but for now here's a quick synopsis: The adventure unfolds around a remote fishing/trading outpost that was established months ago by your father and other men from your home village. No one has heard from them in some time, so you arrange for passage to the village on a merchant ship. When you arrive, you find the outpost in ruins and the people slaughtered. Your father, barely clinging to life, tells you that an ancient warlock is responsible for this heinous act. He calls upon you to exact vengeance for his life and the other slayings. To defeat the warlock, you will have to destroy four stone seals that focus his mystical powers. The first has already been destroyed, mistakenly shattered by the slain Vikings in their efforts to explore the land surrounding the outpost. It is believed that the warlock struck down these men as punishment for their careless and destructive act...

Standing betweem you and the three remaining seals are hordes of men and creatures summoned by the warlock. These guardians are sworn to protect the seals and the power they contain. Among the guardians you will find a small army of Dwarves...

Many thanks to the folks who helped playtest this map -- especially Dave & Jeff Ryan, Steve 'Panic' Simoni, Z_buffer, idometrius, Kid Ying, Evil City's Thor and Eric Biessman. And as always, a very special thanks to HumanHead's Dave Halsted, who was insanely patient in helping me track down script issues, cinematic problems and countless other weirdness. Couldn't have done this without his help.

If you find any errors, bugs, oddities or just plain gameplay killers in this version, please let me know about it right away. Send any and all feedback to mike@oriain.net. Many thanks & enjoy!
